Workforce Specialist, Manhattan (Kansas) Area Chamber of Commerce

The Manhattan (KS) Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Workforce Specialist to assist the Program Director of Region Reimagined with talent strategies that directly benefit Manhattan.  This professional position will be responsible for the implementation of talent-related goals and action items and communicating workforce trend data.  Approximately one-quarter of this position will focus on coordinating and managing aspects of the Manhattan Young Professionals Program--overseeing event planning, volunteer coordination, program sponsorships, marketing and administrative duties.  Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Urban Planning, Public Administration, or related field, or a minimum of two years of professional experience in workforce development, economic development, community outreach, public relations or applicable experience.
